TROPED: Master Scholarships in International Health 2011-2012

The European Master of Science Programme in International Health is part of tropEd, a network of 33 European and 7 non-European institutions for higher education. In existence since 1996, tropEd collaborates closely with institutions in Asia, Africa, and the Americas in providing postgraduate education and training opportunities.

The European Master of Science Programme in International Health is a one year, full-time study programme taught in English excepted in Mexico (in spanish). The main objective of the programme is to raise awareness of current global health concerns. Students become qualified to identify and critically analyse key factors shaping the health and well-being of populations in low- and middle-income countries and to formulate effective and appropriate responses to complex health-related issues.

2011 Mexican Government Scholarship Program for Foreign Students, Mexico

PhD, Masters , Postdoctoral, Postgraduate Research, Medical scholarship funded by Mexican Government to Foreign Students.

The scholarships are granted for specialization, master’s, Ph.D., and medical specialization courses as well as for postgraduate-level research, postdoctoral stays, postgraduate mobility programs, artistic creation residences, high-level conferences, residences for Mexicanist researchers, residences for media collaborators, and special chairs for visiting professors.

PhD and Masters Studentships in Mathematics at the National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico

A number of fully funded PhD and Masters Studentships for students outside Mexico may be available within the graduate Program in Mathematics at the Center of Research and of Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (www.math.cinvestav.mx/), Campuses Mexico City and Queretaro, Mexico. We are one of the most important and prestigious postgraduate and research institutions in Mexico. The Department hosts annually several international mathematical events including the Joseì Adem Memorial Lecture Series, www.math.cinvestav.mx/ADEM, the NAS-Cinvestav Lectures, organized jointly with the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America, www.math.cinvestav.mx/NASLectures, and the Solomon Lefschetz Memorial Lecture Series, www.math.cinvestav.mx/lefschetz, among other meetings.

[Mexico] Fully Funded Masters and PhD Studentships in Mathematical Science at UNAM-UMSNH

A number of fully funded PhD and Masters studentships for students outside Mexico are available within the Joint Postgraduate Program in Mathematical Science of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Campus Morelia, and the Michoacan University of San Nicolas of Hidalgo (UNAM-UMSNH), Morelia, Mexico.

The PhD studentships are tenable for up to 3 years and have a stipend of 9,466.00 Mexican Pesos per month (714 US Dollars, equivalent to six Mexican minimum wages). The Masters studentships are tenable for up to 2 years and have a stipend of 7,100.00 Mexican Pesos per month (535 US Dollars, equivalent to four and a half Mexican minimum wages). Health coverage will be provided by the Mexican social security system.

[Mexico] The Mexican Government Scholarships 2010 for Foreigners

Scholarships are awarded for specialization studies, master’s degrees, doctorates, and medical specialties, postgraduate research and postdoctoral visits, visits for artistic creation and for visiting professors and experts, high-level lecture visits, professional internship programs for visiting professors and postgraduate mobility.

This Call for scholarships and grants shall be open from April 22 through August 31, 2009, and online registration of candidatures shall be done from July 15 to August 15, 2009, with the exception of the following Programs: “Genaro Estrada” Program for Specialists on Mexico; High-Level Lecture Program; Special Internship Program; Studies on Mexican Independence and the Mexican Revolution; Program of Visits for News Media Collaborators; the Mexican Program to Improve the Quality of Mexico’s Higher Education Institutions; and the “Daniel Cosío Villegas” Programs of El Colegio de México. The foregoing shall remain open until October 30, 2010. Online registration for these programs is not required.

The Mexican National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE), the French National Institut for Research in Computer Science and Control (INRIA), The French Mexican Laboratory in Computer Science & Automatics (LAFMIA) and the European-Mexican Informatics Laboratory (LAEMI) invite you to take part in the 10th Summer School on Image and Robotics (SSIR 09) to be held in Santa Maria Tonantzintla, in the state of Puebla, Mexico. A limited number of scholarships will be granted to students.
