PhD Studentship in Finite Element Simulations of Microsensors, University of Waterloo, Canada
Published on Sep 04 2010 // America, PhD, Scholarships by Degree, Scholarships in Canada
Microsensor R&D benefits to a great extent from finite element simulations because design variations can be characterized on a computer. This is highly relevant to our industrial partners. We need a new graduate student to help us with thermal and mechanical simulations of microsensors integrated on silicon chips, used for joining process studies for the microelectronic industry.
Requirements:
- university degree in engineering or science .
- good grasp of basic laws of physics .
- strong communication skills.
