This scholarship is awarded to a student who is still in his/her home country before departure to Japan and is willing to pursue a master’s or Ph.D. degree at the Graduate School of System Design and Management (SDM). Applicants for this scholarship should fill the designated application form and submit it to the Admissions Office. A recipient of this award will receive financial aid from Yoshida Scholarship Foundation (http://www.ysf.or.jp/en/indexe.html). The scholarship covers the costs of one round-trip air ticket (economy class air fare), tuition (maximum amount 2,500,000yen for 2 years (for the master’s program) or 3 years (for Ph.D. program)), a monthly stipend (150,000 yen), a housing allowance (at large city, max. 40,000 yen per month/ other city, max. 20,000 yen per month), and Family allowance (if spouse lives together in Japan and he/she has no source of income: 20,000 yen per month).
