The University of Exeter Business School is offering five MBA Full-Fee Scholarships, worth £17,000 each , to eligible students taking up places on our full-time, one year MBA programme in the 2009/10 academic year. The scholarships will be awarded to students who have excelled in both their previous academic and business careers. Application deadline: Friday 1 May 2009.

In addition, we are offering 12 MBA Professional Scholarships worth £5,000 each , which will be awarded based on students’ previous work experience achievements. Application deadline: 31 August 2009.

Professor Richard Lamming, Director of the Business School said “With so much uncertainty about the economic situation over the next couple of years, many people may think this is the ideal time to return to education and develop their skills to be in the best position to take advantage of the upturn when it comes. The Business School realises that people need to be supported to be able to make this commitment and I am delighted that we’ve been able to be more generous with these scholarships that at any time in the past.”

MBA FULL-FREE SCHOLARSHIPS

The Business School is awarding five full-fee scholarships for the 2009/10 academic year to students on our Post-Experience MBA programme.

These scholarships of £17,000 each will be available for qualifying MBA students starting the Full-Time programme in September 2009.

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of work experience and academic qualifications.

Applying for a Scholarship

The application deadline for these awards is Friday 1 May 2009 . To apply, complete an application for the programme at:

stating that you wish to apply for the MBA Full-Fee Scholarship. You must include a full Curriculum Vitae, and ensure your personal statement gives details of work experience you have and an explanation of what you hope to do with your MBA after you have graduated.

We will send out notification of awards on 15 May 2009. If successful, you will be asked to provide a deposit of £1,000 by 12 June 2009 to secure the award and your place on the programme.

MBA PROFESSIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

The Business School is awarding twelve Professional Scholarships for the 2008/9 academic year to students on our Post-Experience MBA programme.

These scholarships of £5,000 each will be available for MBA students starting the Full-Time programme in September 2009.

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the contribution applicants can make to the programme, with special attention being given to the quality of previous work experience.

Applications for this award will be accepted up until 31 August 2009 . To apply, complete an application for the programme at:

Eligibility for the award will be assessed using the information provided in MBA application form and CV, with special attention given to the quality of work experience described as part of the personal statement.
